Knowsley Council has been shortlisted for a third national award for its implementation of Invision360 – this time a Municipal Journal Achievement Award.
The Invision360 Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) Audit Tool enables the Council to audit the quality and consistency of EHCPs against recognised standards, providing data and evidence to target improvements and improve outcomes.
The Council is one of six local authorities shortlisted in The MJ’s Digital Transformation category, judged by influential figures from across the public and private sectors. The highly coveted award celebrates how digital solutions can positively change local authority services, strengthen partnerships and change working cultures.
In making their final selection, the judges look for the best examples of local authorities using digital solutions to make sustained service improvements.
Cllr Margaret Harvey, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, said “To be shortlisted for a Municipal Journal Achievement Award is a huge achievement. We’re delighted that our digital transformation in EHC planning has been recognised in this way.
“There have been many improvements, but the most notable strides have been made in health and social care. For example, when we first started using Invision360 in November 2020, just 31% of plans contained health and social care advice graded as ‘good.’ A year on, there’s been a huge and sustained transformation, with 86% of plans now graded as ‘good.’
“Although we are still on an improvement journey, we are proud to say that every measurable indicator within our Assurance Learning Framework is showing a sustained improvement.”
Phil Stock, Managing Director of Invision360, added “As with the iESE and iNetwork award nominations, this really is a poignant moment for KMBC and Invision360. As early adopters of Invision360 and innovation partners, Mike and his team have played a pivotal role in shaping Invision360.
“We look forward to officially presenting the impact Invision360 is having to a panel of judges in May. By then, there will be another quarter’s worth of results for Knowsley Council to share as we demonstrate sustained improvements in EHC planning.”
The winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony at the Park Plaza in Westminster on 24 June 2022.
The Council was also awarded an iESE Certificate of Excellence for implementing, awarded as part of the iESE Public Transformation Awards.
It is also a finalist at the upcoming iNetwork Innovation Awards, in recognition of demonstrating innovation and achievement in the effective use of data and information standards to improve services. The winners will be announced on 19 May 2022.
